His responsibilities in the company as the CEO/Managing Director often include budget funding, marketing, administrative, and quality assurance to determine concept suitability for the global market. He monitors and controls research sessions, script development and content production through commissioning writers and hiring artistic and technical staff as required. Mr. Okanlawon oversees all projects from concept to completion and he is fully involved in the entire production process by working closely with the directors and other production staff during the shoot. All these are accompanied by sponsorship and funding for all projects, being an independently funded production company, ensuring that each production is kept within the allocated budget. As part of his company responsibility, he also represents the company in international films and TV markets to enlarge, build, and develop a solid network of industry contacts while seeking opportunities and collaborative productions and partnerships. Mr. Okanlawon constantly attends local and international workshops, conferences and symposia to remain relevant in the industry and also to update his qualifications and skills. Some international industry events include the AMERICAN FILM MARKET in Santa Monica, California in the United States of America, Toronto International Film Festival, Canada International documentary festival, and the CANNES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. He is a member of the famous Association of Movie Content Owners and Producers/Distributors of Nigeria, Member, Board of Trustees for Association of Nollywood Core Producers (ANCOP), and the first Nigerian Film Producers Association to be recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Association in France. He is equally the Director of Finance, Alliance of Nollywood Guilds and Associations (ANOGA), and several other professional bodies in and outside the country. Mr. Okanlawon Tunji Oluwale has shot several movies in Nigeria; some recent production credits include “SUNSET IN EMARON VILLAGE” which is a collaborative venture between Vision Production Limited and Vision Contents (PTY) Limited. “GRACE TO GRASS”, “SEVEN DAYS”, “BLOODY THRONE” and “SEASON” the high-tech soap opera with a traditional setting, are some other works in the company’s creative repertoire.
